At Oujo Wealth Strategies we help clients meet an array of financial goals, and one of the most important is complete financial independence. Our team works day in and day out to diligently walk hand and hand with clients in financial independence planning. Reaching financial independence is a journey, however we’re excited to take the journey with you.

In my past six years at Oujo Wealth Strategies, I’ve experienced this journey with multiple clients. Through these experiences, I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful clients. Each client’s journey is different, however each one is in charge of their own financial destiny.

There will always be highs and lows, but it’s how you react that will determine the trajectory of your  financial independence plan.

Before we dive too far into the journey, you may be asking what truly defines financial independence?  In its simplest terms, I would define financial independence as going to work every day because you want to, not because you have to financially. There are a multitude of factors that determine financial dependence but were here to help you understand what those are and help you begin to overcome them.

Now time to dive into what the journey to financial independence will truly look like.

Let’s get the bad news over with first…the lows. During the process, you’re likely to hit a few setbacks. I think most people who come to us are looking to find out one thing and that is “Am I going to make it in life financially?”. Although this is the burning question at hand, don’t let the pressure and burden of independence derail your journey. To help you overcome these lows, we direct our efforts towards quantifying the “number” you need to hit to reach what we would call “financial independence”.

On a lighter note, with these lows there are also many highs. What gives me the greatest joy is sitting in front of a client and telling them I believe they have met their “financial independence goal” and seeing the grin on their face and the burden taken off their shoulders.

It’s not about the destination, but the journey, and each step in the process can lead to the very moment mentioned above. If you’re ready to get this feeling and reach your financial independence goals, please contact our office at (732) 556-4200 to schedule a meeting or visit OujoWealthStrategies.com.
